A venue booking platform that stopped bookings—instant slot availability customers changing dates on their own and price snapshots that keep old bookings financially honest.
Problem
Bookings came in by phone walk-in and email into a calendar. Double-bookings happened. Rescheduling meant staff had to call clients.. When this venue booking platform updated package prices historical booking records quietly changed too—making past financial reports wrong.

What I built
We built a Next.js customer portal with the availability calendar and package builder, a console for calendar management and approvals and a Node.js/PostgreSQL backend with Prisma. The interesting engineering is in the details: date-blocking at, per-event levels and transaction-level checks so two customers can never book the same slot.
